*************** WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ***************

If the downtown streets aren't safe due to ice and/or snow, we may cancel a tour. If we ever decide not to run a tour, Beth will update our outgoing voice mail message about 90 minutes before it's scheduled to start.

On the flip side, we could run a tour if our roads are okay, but some of our out-of-town guests with reserved seats might not be able to get here! If the tour is running on a wintry day and you don't have a reservation, come down to the bus and get on the Stand-By list. There's a good chance we'll have some empty seats.

*****************************************************

General Information

NashTrash Tours last a little over 90 minutes, and our Big Pink Bus holds 32 people. Public tours usually run just once a day Tuesday through Friday, twice a day on Saturday, with an occasional Monday thrown in. Tours do not run on Sundays or any major holidays unless otherwise noted on the calendar. There are never, ever more than two tours on any day, six or seven max per week (whether public or private). We take reservations up to six months in advance.

Beth personally takes all reservations via our voice mail, which is completely secure. You must provide all the required information below to reserve seats, with a cancellation deadline based on the number of seats you reserve. Payment is not due until your tour day, so be ready to pay the Jugg Sisters when you hop on the bus.

This is a grown-up tour. Well-behaved older children are allowed, but keep in mind that there plenty of adult-type jokes! We also allow y'all to bring along small cooler boxes, so there may be some alcohol consumption. All kiddies under age 13 must stay at home with the sitter (this includes infants).

Prices per person, including TN sales tax:

$29.50 for whippersnappers age 13 & over ($32 includes driver tip*)
$27.31 for vintage folks age 55 & over ($30 including tip*)

* If you enjoy the tour, we hope you'll throw a few bucks at The Big Pink Driver's tippin' bucket...that 10% is very much appreciated!

The January discount price for all seats is just $26.35 ($28 with tip). You can laugh at Ol' Man Winter while you're riding in our toasty-warm, fully enclosed Big Pink Bus.

Tour Schedule & How To Read the Calendar

  • Tours don't run on Sundays, Mondays or major holidays unless otherwise noted on the calendar below.
  • There are never more than two tours per day, 6-7 maximum per week (whether public or private).
  • Any date marked "Closed" means we won't schedule any tours, Public or Private tours.
  • We do not run two double-tour days in a row.
  • A Public tour date is not available for a Private tour, and vice versa; there's only one tour per weekday unless already noted.
  • A tour that says "Available for Public or Private" just means nobody has booked anything yet, so the first reservation will determine which it will be.
  • A Public Tour with openings will show Seats Available, or may list how many seats are left if it's filling up.
  • We don't book anything more than six months in advance. Mark your calendar to call Beth later if you want something after that.

Reservations Required for All Tours!

We usually sell out well in advance, so read everything, including the General Information, then call our secure voicemail to reserve your seats: (615) 226-7300 or (800) 342-2132…two numbers, same phone
.

Beth the Big Pink Assistant will reply via email to any calls for available tours, and she'll usually do that by the end of the next business day. Remember: the tours run on the weekend…Beth does not.

Tours fill up very quickly and your seats are not reserved until you leave all of the required info below, including your credit card number. It's absolutely safe to leave it in your message — Beth is the only person with the password to our voice mail.

Remember, you don't pay until you get on the bus. The card is only used to hold your seats until tour day. Here's what we need:

1)  Your preferred tour — see the calendar above;

2)  How many people in your party;

3)  Your first & last name, and if it ain't John Smith, please spell it clearly (some letters sound just alike on the phone: S/F…M/N… T/B/D/P/G…etc)

4)  A cell phone number — required if you're an out o' towner (give a local contact number if you're visiting from another country, or if you're one of the seven remainin' folks on earth with no cell);

5)  A daytime weekday number (only if you want to, 'cause we probably won't call you there);

6)  A credit card number* —
we do not take American Express, so it must be a MasterCard, Visa or Discover number;

7)
The expiration date on the card;

8)  The security/CVV code — the last 3 digits of the number printed on the back of the card, in the signature line;

9)
Your email address…spell clearly (S as in Sam, F as in Frank).

• READ THIS, IF NOTHING ELSE! •

  • Once you leave your credit card and all other details, you will not receive a phone call unless the tour you want is already full.
  • Beth will send you a confirmation email with all tour details; however, it will get dumped into your Spam folder (99% do).
  • If you don't see the confirmation email in your In-box or Spam-box within a few days, CALL BACK to ensure your seats are reserved, because…
  • …If you haven't replied (in writing) to the confirmation email, your reservation will be canceled!
  • Beth will not use your card number for anything except the tour you're calling about, and we'll never sell your email address.

Waiting List before Tour Day

You can call to put your name on the Waiting List for any sold-out tour. Leave a message with 1) how many seats you need, 2) your name, and 3) a cell phone number so Beth can reach you up to the day before the tour.

IF we get a cancellation before the day of the tour, Beth will call you. She has no way of knowing if or when somebody might cancel, so callin' back a bunch o' times won't do you any good. IF somebody does cancel seats on a tour you want, she'll let you know asap.

There is no Waiting List on the day of the tour. Instead, you must come get on Stand-By at the bus (see below).

Stand-By on Tour Day

There are often a few no-shows at the last minute. If Beth doesn't call but you're still just dyin' to get on a tour, come on down about 20 minutes before the tour's start time. Knock on the bus door, tell the Jugg Sisters you wanna get on the Stand-By List and they'll do their best to get you on.

Note: This is first-come, first served for each tour, and only applies to that tour. Being on the Waiting List does not give anyone priority.

NashTrash is not connected with any other tour company…leave the comedy to the professionals!

There's nothin' in town like the NashTrash Tour. If you don't get on one of our tours, we recommend Tommy's Tours instead. He's a good ol' feller who's been in the tour biz for many years and now has his own lil' company. It ain't NashTrash, but he's a real character and his tour's entertainin' and educational…just be sure it's Tommy who'll be doin' the tour.

Juggs' Tips: If you're in town on a Tuesday evening, go see another great Nashville act — the Doyle & Debbie show. They're hilarious!

Cancellation / Late Arrival / Forgetfulness Policy

If you book 4 or fewer seats on a tour, you have a 4-day cancellation deadline. If you need to cancel or change your reservation you must call at least 4 days before your tour date. Otherwise, your credit card will be charged unless someone else takes your empty seat(s).

BUT if you have 5 or more in your party, your cancellation deadline is based on the number of seats you reserve...for example, if you have 12 people in your group, you'll have a 12-day cancellation deadline.

If you're not at the Big Pink Bus at least 15 minutes before your tour's start time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, and you will be charged for any seats that are not sold. If you don't use our directions to the bus, it's your own dang fault if you can't find us!

The office is often closed when tours are running. We don't re-confirm reservations after the original booking, so save your confirmation email and be sure to tattoo your tour date & time on your forehead. If you miss the tour, your card will be charged for the seats if nobody's there to fill them.

Speaking of your credit card, remember that we do not charge you in advance. Your payment is due as you get on the bus, and we accept only one credit card per party. If you want to pay separately, please bring cash or it'll take forever to load up that bus.

TOUR LOCATION & RULES

The Nashville Farmers Market is where all our tours start and end.

Plan to arrive at the market 30 minutes early to allow time for traffic and to locate the Big Pink Bus, plus you can hit the ATM for cash to buy our fancy souvenirs. Be at the bus at least 15 minutes before your tour's start time, or we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and/or leave without you.

Each tour lasts a little over 90 minutes, and here are the NashTrash Rules about what is/isn't allowed on the bus:

1) The Cardinal Rule: The Jugg Sisters are wacky and fun, but this is a performance and everybody wants to hear the show. Please be considerate of the other guests on the tour. If your party is disruptive and the Jugg Sisters tell you more than once you're breaking The Cardinal Rule, we'll charge a penalty and/or your group may be kicked off the bus.

2) You may bring beverages (including beer or wine), but only in little six-pack sized coolers you can hold on your lap. Space is very limited so if you want to bring a larger cooler box, you must reserve and pay an additional $60 for two extra seats to hold it; otherwise, your cooler WILL stay behind! Everybody must keep all drinks stowed away until on the bus.

3) You may not bring food of any kind. The Juggs will be servin' their fancy make-your-own cheese hors d'oeuvres, which is more than enough for the 90-minute tour.

4) You may use still cameras, but any video recording is prohibited and those devices will be confiscated for the Juggs' future personal use.

5) You can bring cell phones, but turn 'em off before you get on the bus...if the Juggs hear a phone ringing while they're performing, they may not be held responsible for what will happen to the victim, uh, offender.

6) Everybody wants to see the Jugg Sisters in action, so if you wear any super-sized head gear, you have to take it off (the hat, that is) before you can get on the bus. Try to leave the feather boa at home, too…Brenda Kay was once attacked by a flamingo.

7) Children under age 13 are not allowed under any circumstances.

If you follow these rules, everybody's gonna have a great time on the tour!

PRIVATE TOUR INFO & PRICING

Special Info about Private Tour:

  • A tour already shown as "Public" on our calendar is not available for a Private party.
  • There's only one tour per day unless noted.
  • Any date noted as "Closed" also includes any Private tours.
  • On weekends, the latest Private tour start time is 2pm.

If you have between 20 and 32 people in your group, you can reserve a private tour aboard our Big Pink Bus, depending on the existing schedule.

Private tours are based on availability and capacity. We seldom run more than one tour per weekday (whether public or private), and absolutely no more than two per day or 6-7 tours per week. Please book early to get the date you want.

A Private tour is priced at a flat rate of $954 instead of the usual per-person charge. This price includes 9.25% TN sales tax and a 10% driver gratuity. In February, we offer a $50 discount, for a total price of $894. And in January, the price is $858.60 — that's a 10% discount off the usual private tour price!

Tours begin and end at the Farmers Market. For an additional transport fee, we can pick up and/or drop off your private group at another spot, but only in the immediate downtown area inside the interstate loop (the Opryland Hotel area isn't even close).

You may bring beverages including beer or wine, but only in small (six-pack size) coolers guests can hold on their laps. Space is very limited on the bus, so if you provide a larger cooler of drinks for your guests you must reserve at least 2 of your 32 seats for each big cooler.

Remember that all NashTrash Rules must be followed, even with private groups. NashTrash is a show on wheels, not a party transport vehicle!

We require the same information needed for a public tour, or you can send us a $500 deposit check. In either case, we have a one-month cancellation policy, and your tour is not guaranteed until we receive a credit card number or deposit.

You must have a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 32 guests on the bus! The minimum is to ensure that the audience is big enough to make your tour a fun experience, and the maximum is as many as the law will allow after they made us take the tanning rack off the roof.

Weather Policy

The tour runs in all weather except ice and/or snow. We'd hate to cancel a tour, but will not risk possible injury to the Jugg Sisters or the Big Pink Bus (and you, of course).

If the downtown streets are not safe and your tour must be cancelled, someone will call to inform you — that's why it's always good to give us a cell number. Beth will also announce any cancelled tour on our outgoing message at least 90 minutes before the tour's scheduled start time.

Is the Big Pink Bus Wheelchair-Accessible?

The Big Pink Bus was a school bus in her former life and does not have wheelchair access. We do put a little step on the ground to avoid a big climb, so if you can make it up the steps with some assistance and are able to sit on a bus seat, we can store a walker or wheelchair in the storage bay.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can I rent the Big Pink Bus for another purpose?
The Big Pink Bus is a delicate ol' girl, so she's used only for the NashTrash tours. We do not hire her out as transportation to or from any other event.
Jugg Sisters Private Appearances
If your group's too large for a NashTrash Tour, the Jugg Sisters will bring the spirit of the tour to your corporate event with their hilarious NashTrash comedy routine. For just $900, they'll bring their guitar-picker to accompany them on a few funny tunes, and will personalize the 30-minute show for your group. Call for more details!
